Songwriters at Slater Mill grew out of the River Bend East Songwriters Festival, an annual celebration held at Slater Mill National Historical Park over Labor Day Weekend. Now in its second year, Songwriters at Slater Mill continues a proud tradition of music, creativity, community, and environmental activism rooted in this historic place. Join us on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1–4 pm as we celebrate the legacy of artists and advocates who have shared their voices here, including national and local legends such as Pete Seeger, Mark Cutler, Mary Lee Partington, and Ian O'Neil of Deer Tick.
